What began as a hobby, making cakes and desserts for her daughter\u2019s Varsity and AAU sports teams, quickly grew into a business. Her friends began requesting cakes, then people she didn\u2019t know, and her business flourished from there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With no formal training, Melissa turned to the Food Network to get started \u2013 and she still relies on it for inspiration, as there are always fresh ideas to explore.
